I am currently the Chief Diversity Officer at Finger Lakes Community College. I have worked for the State University of New York (SUNY) 16+ years, and am a proud six-time graduate of the SUNY system. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, Certificate of Advanced Study in School Counseling, and Master of Science in Educational Administration & Policy Studies – Higher Education Leadership, all from the University at Albany, State University of New York. Next, I completed a MBA in Technology Management at SUNY Polytechnic Institute and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management at Empire State College. Finally, I completed my Ed.D. at Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts and am currently a student at the University of Alabama.
I have worked with several law enforcement agencies in our area on diversity training, and am a member of Rotary International and the Canandaigua Rotary Club. As a member of Council I will bring my excellent leadership skills, my experience working with local, state, and federal governments, my developed relationships with many Canandaigua stakeholders from city government and administration, law enforcement, the Chamber of Commerce, the Canandaigua City School District, and my involvement in and dedication to the Canandaigua Community.
